Hello there. As you would expect, membership of the Hamilton Archives gives you access to a large picture gallery of Hamilton images, and to other member services. The picture gallery is updated regularly, often featuring Hamilton pictures you will not see anywhere else.

Members also are able to buy prints, though posters and books are off the menu these days. All books are out of stock and there are currently no posters either.

The Picture Gallery is organized for fast loading. Most pay-to-view sites forget that a proportion of the online community still does not have broadband access. Some visitors still pay access charges by the minute or by the megabyte. Some others still use 15 inch monitors. Because we're professionals, we take all these things into account when we design our sites.

So it is our standard practice to have the regular membership designed for surfers who prefer to view their images online instead of downloading them, and to size those images for economy viewing. The Gallery pop-up images are 550 pixels square for fast loading. A regular membership is only € 26 per month.

Members who want more have another option. The pictures that début on the site each month are also provided in a larger, downloadable "FullScreen" format. This gives you maximum viewing pleasure for only an additional € 13 extra.

In addition, subscribers to the FullScreen option often receive bonus FullScreen sets or other gifts.

We’ve been online since 1995 making us one of the oldest PTV web sites current today. We processed credit card memberships for ten years without a problem. However, times are changing. Some years ago the credit card companies introduced new protocols for card-not-present transactions and this considerably complicated the lives of all web merchants. For now, we have membership-processing arrangements at PayPal. These facilities are adequate but, for us and sometimes for our members, things are a bit inconvenient and inflexible. We are currently looking for more-familiar direct card arrangements and will have a new facility in place as soon as possible. Meantime, don't be concerned about PayPal. They do things a little differently but they are a regular bank, owned by eBay, and are the biggest online payment service.
