This is a revised, improved and expanded version of the Hamilton Archives site that former members were already familiar with. Online since 1995, the site is surely one of the oldest pay-to-view web sites in the world. First-time visitors will want to start here.

Inside, you will find a site rich with content. Also an opportunity to become a member, which will give you access to a large collection of David’s best pictures taken throughout his career. The entire display is changed each month when new images that have not been seen before are introduced.

Old Hamilton books are long out of print so, to meet the wishes of a huge fan base, we are starting to present below electronic versions of those books. (So far, we have three done. More will be added as time permits in our busy office. It's a reasonably big job.)

Sorry, access to these books is for members only. If you are not a member but wish to join, please go here
Bilitis was the first and most popular of the five feature-length movies made by David. There was a book released to celebrate the movie but, as with all of his older books, copies are hard or impossible to find. Here, we bring online the entire contents of the book, optimized for web presentation.
This book is David’s very personal tribute to the painters he loves best. For each picture in this book, there is, somwhere, a painting that David admires and which inspired the photograph. Expect this book to be ready in August.
Venice, Italy, is David’s favorite city in the whole world. This book reveals his love affair with the city in a unique set of beautiful images. The visuals are enhanced by a very interesting text by Peter Lauritzen that will give anyone a sense that they must visit. The introduction by Robert Ricci (of the House of Nina Ricci) is also an eye-opener.

Die komplette Venice-website ist auch in einer deutscher Version verfügbar.
