The ease with which images can be pirated on the internet and the large number of people willing to do so, have brought fundamental change to David’s career. This site is now his main means of contact with the buying public.

The internet has spawned a culture where many things are available at no cost. But the people providing their goods and services for free still hold down regular day jobs somewhere, for which they expect to be paid. Making the images you see here is David’s day job. If there is no longer any income to be earned from it, the creativity will stop. The people who will be most disappointed are his biggest fans — often the same people who post his images on the net, out of affection and enthusiasm not out of a desire to destroy their hero’s career. But the fact is, that’s what they have done. The same people who love him have loved him to death.
David requests that his copyright be respected. Please do not post his images or use them in any other way. Doing so is unfair, illegal and not even in the best interests of the poster.

If you have seen a Hamilton image somewhere else on the internet it is almost certainly a copyright breach (with the main exception, of course, being bona fide retail outlets who post pictures of the products they sell) and we ask you to let us know.
